CXM-303 Deploying Enterprise Mobility Solutions with Citrix XenMobile 10

This course provides the skills necessary to install, configure, and integrate components in a Citrix XenMobile 10 Enterprise solution. Students with limited or no XenMobile experience will gain an understanding of the components of a XenMobile Enterprise solution and their functions. Students will deploy and configure the XenMobile Enterprise components, apply principles to enroll mobile devices, install mobile apps, and use policies to manage device and application usage in a lab environment. In addition, topics such as how to integrate additional Citrix products and applications as part of the solution and how to troubleshoot some of the most common implementation issues will be discussed.

CXM-202 Managing and Supporting an Enterprise Mobility Solution with XenMobile 10

This is a new XenMobile course that is scheduled to be released by Citrix during June 2015. The description will be posted as soon as it is released by Citrix. Classes are scheduled to start June 29, 2015.

CXD-203: Managing App and Desktop Solutions with Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop 7.6

The Managing App and Desktop Solutions with Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop 7.6 course provides students with the skills required to effectively support a Citrix application and desktop virtualization solution in a Windows Server 2012 R2 environment.

During this course, students will learn how to successfully manage, monitor, support and troubleshoot a XenDesktop 7.6 solution, which includes growing the implementation to accommodate changes in the environment (adding new applications, new users, new desktops, and new policies) and troubleshooting common issues.

This fast-paced Citrix Desktop Virtualization Fast Track course CMB-300 provides students the skills required to successfully deploy and support a complete Citrix hosted application and desktop virtualization solution in a Windows Server 2012 R2 environment.

Throughout this course, students will learn how to configure an environment that includes the following Citrix components: XenServer, XenDesktop, Citrix License Server, MCS, PVS, Personal vDisk, StoreFront, NetScaler (ICA Proxy, Load Balancing, Endpoint Analysis), and Citrix Receiver. CXD-105: Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop Helpdesk

The Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop Helpdesk Support eLearning course provides Helpdesk representatives with the skills required to effectively troubleshoot and resolve end user issues faster, prevent issues from reoccurring and use the proper consoles during troubleshooting to quickly determine the root cause of user issues within a XenApp or XenDesktop environment.

Students will leave class with the ability to complete helpdesk tickets thoroughly, troubleshoot user issues, including interpreting user needs, asking the proper questions to resolve common issues, and applying documentation practices when troubleshooting to ensure a smooth transition when escalation is necessary.

CXD-205: Citrix XenDesktop 7.5 Skills Update

The Citrix XenDesktop 7.5 skills update course CXD-205, provides experienced Citrix XenDesktop students with the skills required to implement Citrix XenDesktop 7.5. Students will learn how to configure a XenDesktop 7.5 environment that includes the following Citrix components: Delivery Controller, Director, Studio, MCS, NetScaler, Provisioning Services, and Receiver.

Upon course completion, students will be able to implement and configure a XenDesktop 7.5 solution. This course includes access to a live lab environment.

CXA-207: Citrix XenApp 7.5 Skills Update

This course provides experienced Citrix XenApp students with the skills required to implement Citrix XenApp 7.5. Students will learn how to configure a XenApp 7.5 environment that includes the following Citrix components: Delivery Controller, Director, Studio, MCS, NetScaler, Provisioning Services, and Receiver.

Upon course completion, students will be able to implement and configure a XenApp 7.5 solution. This course includes access to a live lab environment.

CXD-400: Designing App and Desktop Solutions with Citrix XenDesktop 7.x

This course provides students with the ability to successfully assess and design a XenApp and/or XenDesktop virtualization solution based on the top key projects and architectures that a majority of Citrix customers implement, across different industries and use cases. Students may also have an opportunity to build a design for their organization and will have access to all of the tools and reference materials required to support their work.

CHD-100: Help Desk Support for XenApp and Desktop

The Citrix Help Desk Support for XenApp and Desktop course CHD-100, introduces help desk and tier 1 / tier 2 support professionals to concepts and troubleshooting strategies for XenApp and XenDesktop environments.

You will learn the fundamental concepts behind the types of resources available from a XenApp or XenDesktop deployment, the communication requirements for each environment, and the process involved with accessing a resource from either environment.

Help desk professionals will be able to identify if an issue affects a general problem area and then break down the issue into a more specific cause. Some issues will be appropriate for the help desk to take action directly to solve. For other issues, the help desk may be required to identify and direct the issue to the appropriate team, such as XenApp or XenDesktop administrators, network administrators, application teams, or other.

Interactive Instructor-led discussion and hands-on lab exercises guide learners through help desk tasks and prepare them to troubleshoot common issues encountered in XenApp and XenDesktop environments.

CXA-206: Citrix XenApp 6.5 Basic Administration

The Citrix XenApp 6.5 Basic Administration course CXA-206, provides the foundation necessary for administrators to effectively centralize and manage applications in the datacenter and instantly deliver them as a service to users anywhere.

Learners will receive training for installing and configuring Citrix XenApp 6.5 for Windows Server 2008 R2, Citrix Receiver and plug-ins, as well as for using administrative consoles and tools to configure resources, policies, server and farm settings, printers, virtualized applications and more.

CXA-301: Citrix XenApp 6.5 Advanced Administration

The Citrix XenApp 6.5 Advanced Administration course CXA-301, provides learners with the skills necessary to monitor, maintain, optimize and troubleshoot Citrix XenApp 6.5 environments running on Windows Server 2008 R2 software.

Learners are introduced to the tools used to monitor the XenApp farm, record farm activity and generate reports. In addition, learners take away the skills needed to maintain data and server integrity and to scale, optimize and troubleshoot the XenApp farm. This course encourages learning by doing and includes many hands-on exercises that reinforce and expand on the course content.

CXS-203 Citrix XenServer 6 Administration

The Citrix XenServer 6 Administration course CXS-203, provides the foundation necessary to effectively install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot XenServer 6.0. Students will also learn how to configure a Provisioning Services host, and create and manage vDisks in a XenServer environment.

Through the use of hands-on labs, you will acquire the skills needed to configure the Distributed Virtual Switch (DVS) as well as Workload Balancing (WLB). You will also create and manage Windows virtual machines and the resource pools in which they will be placed.

CNS-205 NetScaler 10.5 Essentials and Networking

The objective of the Citrix NetScaler 10.5 Essentials and Networking course is to provide the foundational concepts and advanced skills necessary to implement, configure, secure, monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot a Citrix NetScaler system from within a networking framework. This course is designed specifically for learners who have limited or no previous NetScaler experience. In order to successfully complete this course, learners will have access to hands-on exercises within a virtual lab environment. An optional module on NetScaler SDX appliances is included with reinforcement simulation exercises.

This course is based on the Citrix NetScaler 10.5 product, but the skills and fundamental concepts learned are common to earlier product versions.

CNS-301 NetScaler 10.5 Advanced Implementation

This course provides the foundation to manage, configure and monitor advanced features and components of Citrix NetScaler 10.5. Interactive discussion and hands-on labs guide learners through advanced administration tasks such as troubleshooting, configuring application security with Citrix Application Firewall, tuning the NetScaler for high-traffic loads, configuring AAA for system management, and configuring advanced policies using service callouts. Advanced monitoring and management tasks such as configuring and implementing NetScaler Insight Center, Command Center, and NetScaler Web Logging are also covered. Prior NetScaler knowledge is strongly recommended. In order to successfully complete this course, learners will have access to hands-on exercises within a virtual lab environment.

The objective of the Citrix NetScaler 10.5 Essentials for ACE Migration course is to provide the foundational concepts and advanced skills necessary to migrate from a Cisco ACE ADC to NetScaler, and to implement, configure, secure, monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot a NetScaler system from within a networking framework. This course is a variation of CNS-205 Citrix NetScaler 10.5 Essentials and Networking designed specifically for learners familiar with the ACE appliance but who have limited or no previous NetScaler experience.
